Hand Built Wooden Car

A friend of my father’s built a body and chassis almost entirely from wood a number of years ago. A cabinet maker by trade, he still drives it regularly and I was recently sent this photograph. The car is called the “Tryane II” and was built by Friend Wood (pronounced closely to “Free-and”). I believe it has a Citroen engine from a 2CV or similar.
